One evening, Ombak is sent by his mother to pick up his sister, Sara, who is intoxicated. However, tragedy strikes, and a fatal accident takes Sara’s life. This event plunges Ombak into overwhelming guilt, leaving him as a survivor of a trauma that has fractured his family. His parents, Restu and Kasih, share the profound grief, and the harmony within their family begins to fade. In an effort to find solace, Restu and Kasih embark on an Umrah pilgrimage. As a father, Restu feels the weight of responsibility to reunite his family, while Kasih turns to religion, choosing faith over science to navigate her grief. Unbeknownst to her, Kasih’s cold demeanor sends an implicit message of blame toward Ombak, deepening his feelings of guilt.
Basketball, once Ombak’s refuge, provides only temporary distraction. He also attends therapy with Nana, a psychologist, but struggles to find a lasting sense of peace. The situation escalates to the point that Ombak quits his basketball team, feeling defeated. In his darkest moments, however, he meets Aleiqa, a fellow survivor of similar struggles, who becomes a source of hope and happiness for him.
